Happy Mother's Day

Aunt Katie was such a sweetie to help Markessa make me a Mother's Day treat. Markessa gave it to me and I set it down to walk Kate out and when I came back Markessa said. "Here's your treat Mommy (now it is half eatin.)" I laughed so hard.

Welcome to the Country

We are still alive and well and livin in the country. Marriott-Slaterville that is. If that didn't get any more country I don't know what would. The kids are lovin it and we spend most of our time outside.

Die Easter Eggs? No Dye Easter Eggs.

I am trying to teach Markessa that some words have more than one meaning, like "butt" or "but". "Mom, we don't say butt!! (With her hands on her hips and her best scowl) So when it was time to dye Easter eggs she looked at me strangely wondering why on earth we would "die" eggs. Super Fun!!

Fun at the Museum

One of our favorite places is the Mesa Art Museum. We found a new room this week.

So far she hasn't cut up anything too valuable, but she LOVES scissors.
"Okay mom, I'm posing. Hurry and take the picture."

Look what I found in these silly chairs.

Let's get wet

We wanted to go to the Fountains today, but they weren't working so we made our own fountain at home. Grady is showcasing his first major boo boo. Right smack on his cute little nose. He took a face plant over the threshold onto the cement, then soon after his sister helped him onto his face again. That day was a rough one.
